Image Toolbar
Each image in the toolbar is unique. The user can select/make use of only one tool at a time.

| Hanging Protocol Layout - Stack Mode - To view the images one behind the other in a stacked mode | |
| Hanging Protocol Layout - Tile Mode - To view the images one beside the other like a floor tile | |
| Window Presets - To apply a predefined window to display images in an optimal level | |
| Scroll - Selecting this tool shall change the function of the left mouse button when held during mouse movement to cause the frame or image displayed in the viewport to be scrolled to an earlier or later frame or image | |
| Window Level - This tool will adjust the contrast and brightness | |
| Zoom - This tool is used to increase or decrease the magnification of the selected image | |
| Pan - This tool is used to move image within the display area | |
| Angle - This tool is used to measure an angle created by two structures in the image | |
| Measure Distance - This tool is used to measure any portion of the image | |
| Cine Tool - This tool opens the Cine Toolbar used to play Cine objects | |
| Flip - Allows to turn the image as a result the image could be seen as a mirror image | |
| Rotate - Allows to turn the image 90 degrees clockwise | |
| Link - Allows to associate the image with other studies | |
| Lossy/Lossless - Allows to request for an image to be retrieved in either Lossy or Lossless image compression mode. By default, images are displayed in Lossy mode. | |
| Print - Allows you to print images in viewport(s). | |
| Annotations - Allows to comment on the image | |
| Localizer Lines - The tool will show/hide localizer lines (cut lines) | |
| Clamped Window/Level - Pressing this button shall change the mode of windowing behavior for the selected viewport(s) between changing the window center and width, or adjustment of the upper value of the window with the lower limit clamped to zero. | |
| Invert - The Invert tool is used to reverse the grayscale values of an image. It will make white areas appear black and black areas appear white. It will be useful to clarify areas of CR and X-ray images | |
| Reset - This tool will reset the selected image to its default presentation state |

Thumbnails
This section occupies the left most portion of the screen. It displays the images of the study.
Image Viewer
The image viewer occupies the major portion of the screen. The number of image viewer appear depends on your selection. Each image viewer displays various images of the study.
