How Do I Configure Video Capture?

Captured images and video signals can quickly occupy a large amount of hard disk space. Due to this, the RamSoft software provides the capability to automatically apply compression to the captured images and signals. The following section describes these features.

Aside from video, images can be acquired from a film digitizer, through the import function or from a document scanner. The Configuring Video Capture Compression section also describes how these images can be automatically compressed to save space.
