How Do I Configure InterFax Settings?
InterFax is another faxing tool which allows users a fast and simple use of fax services.
The following are the steps to correctly use InterFax.
- Click on the InterFax tab and then select the InterFax radio button at the bottom of the Fax Settings form.
-
Enter the InterFax user name in the User Name field.
-
Enter the InterFax password in the Password field.
-
Enter a subject for the outgoing fax in the Fax Subject field.
-
The contents of the page header such as the number of pages in the fax, the sender's name or the receiver's name etc are displayed in the Page Header field.
-
The number of times InterFax will try to resend the fax if it is unable to send the fax the first time is determined in the Fax Retry Times option. Default is 5 times.
-
The Chunk Size field is used to determine the size of chunks for a large fax. If a fax being sent is larger than the size defined here, the file is broken down into chunks. The chunks are then uploaded on the server. After the data has been uploaded completely, all the parts are send together. This method allows large faxes to be sent without file size issues or timeout limits of a single upload. The default chunk size is 150 KB.
-
The Page Orientation drop down menu allows the user to send the fax as either a landscape or portrait.
-
The Page Size drop down menu is used to select various types of page sizes i.e. A4, A4-fit, Letter, Letter-fit, legal, Legal-fit, B4 or B4-fit.
-
The user can select the resolution of the fax which can be either High Resolution or Fine Rendering. It must be kept in mind that choosing these options will slow down the fax transfer as the higher quality files will be larger in size.
