How Do I Configure MyFax Settings?

MyFax allows users to send faxes online either manually or automatically. This is a very useful tool which can cut down on overhead time by simplifying the faxing process.

The following are the steps to correctly use MyFax:

  1. Ensure that the MyFax radio button is selected at the bottom of the Fax Settings form.

  1. Enter the MyFax User Name and Password.

  2. The Cover Page Name field allows users to select different templates for their faxes (Users can also create and use their own templates from the MyFax website).

  3. Enter a subject for the outgoing fax in the Fax Subject field.

  4. Enter the sender's name in the Fax Sender field (the Institution Name can also be entered in this field).

  5. The Autofax Retry Times option attempts to send the fax a chosen number of times if it fails to go through at the first attempt.

  6. The Page Tag Options box allows the user to display different options on the fax cover page.

Supported formats for faxing include Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF reports.
