How Do I Restart Local Services?
To Restart Local Services, go to Services > Local Services > Restart. The Restart option will stop and then start all six services described in the service tasks table.
Once the Restart option has been chosen, the services will restart. This may take a few minutes.

Since the services run non-stop, new configuration parameters are not loaded until these services are restarted. Some parameters, such as the database file name, cannot be changed while the services are up and running. For this purpose the system will stop all the services. Once the service is started up again, it inspects the configuration parameters that have been set up for it and behaves as these parameters instruct it to. These new configuration parameters will be loaded when the services are restarted. Parameters, such as the database file name will be changed once the service is restarted. For this purpose the system will start all the services. Once the services have restarted, a message is displayed.
