How Do I Stop Local Services?

To Stop Local Services, go to Services > Local Services > Stop.

The Stop option will stop all six services described in the service tasks table. This may take a few minutes.

Since the services run non stop, new configuration parameters will not be loaded until they are restarted. Some parameters, such as the database file name, cannot be changed while the services are up and running. For this purpose the Stop option is available. Once the services have been stopped, a message is displayed.
