Role Based Access

Access to the tabs, My Latest Exams, Search, Emergency Access and Request An Appointment in RapidResults is controlled by user privileges.

The following user-based controls are set up in RapidResults:

  • Users with all the following privileges can access all the tabs:

    • Access Worklist
    • Access Quick Search
    • Emergency Access
    • Access RapidResults

  • Users whose User Type role is not Referring Physician, would be able to access only the following tabs:

    • My Latest Exam
    • Search
    • Emergency Access

  • Users whose User Type role is not Referring Physician and have no Access Worklist privilege, can access the following tabs:

    • Search
    • Emergency Access

  • Users whose User Type role is not Referring Physician and have no Access Worklist and Quick Search privileges can access only the following tab:

    • Emergency Access

  • Users with none of the above privileges can access only Message Inbox.

Note that you need the RIS license enabled for accessing the Request An Appointment tab.
