Glossary - N Entries

Name column

The column with the name of various system configuration entries.

Name drop-down menu

Contains all of the color mappings that exist in the system.

Name Field

Corresponds to the name that the PowerServer uses to distinguish this client from the other clients connected to the server. By default this field is populated by the machine hostname. This field is visible to the person attempting to send the study to the PowerReader.

New Order

The software now uses a button called New Order which allows users to create many studies for the same patient at the same time.

New Search button

Clears all search fields and removes existing criteria

New Study button

A new study can also be created for a patient, by clicking the New Study button.

New word Report from Template

The right-click menu option which allows users to create a new MS Word report from a pre-defined template

Next Image

Loads the next image in the current series being viewed.

Next Series

Loads the next series in the current study being viewed.

Next Study button

Will close the study and advance its status

Node

The node connecting CB works with PowerReader

Non promiscuous (RamSoft Systems)

RamSoft Systems will not communicate with any DICOM station, that has not been explicitly identified as a safe station.

Number of Monitors

Changing the value of Number of Monitors will toggle between the configurations associated with the protocol.
