OFF-SERVICE

The status displayed when the station is not responding to the pings being sent by DICOM heartbeat.

Online Ordering

Used by Referring Physicians to Order various studies. These studies can then be accessed by the scheduling facility to book appointments for the ordered studies.

ON-SERVICE

The status displayed when the station is up and responding to the pings being sent by DICOM heartbeat.

Open Document Scan Toolbar Button

Button used to scan in a document

Open in New Viewer option

Will add an extra viewport to the screen layout and open the selected series in that new viewport.

Optical Disk

Disk coated with plastic that can store digital data as tiny pits etched in the surface; is read with a laser that scans the surface.

OR

At least one of the conditions has to be false

Order Button

After the Ordering Screen is completed click the Order button

Order Tab

Opens ordering screen

Order Value

Numerical value associated with Study Status

Order was successful

A message box will appear stating that an Order has been successfully created

Ordered Appointments

Patient appointments which have been ordered and assigned to various users.

Ordering Screen

This screen contains all the fields that need to be filled out with the mandatory fields marked with an (*). The mandatory fields include the First Name, Last Name, Phone Number, Date of Birth, Facility, Requested Date, and Requested Time. Meta Searches can be performed on the Facility and the Modality associated with the study being ordered.

Orientation

The default orientation for printing.

Over booking

Determines if multiple studies can be scheduled for the same time slot on a resource

Overlays drop-down

Will open a list of the sections that can be enabled/disabled.

Overwrite Existing Object

When checked off will replace all objects when receiving objects from the station
