Maximum Number of Associations option Allows higher efficiency and faster transfers of files. Through the use of multi-threading, it allows the user to send studies through a number of threads, instead of only one thread. This increases the throughput of the system, ultimately decreasing the amount of time if takes for studies to be received by remote stations.
MDIntouch The service application which bridges functionality between the RamSoft software and the MDIntouch's MDWebtop system. The MDIntouch works in tandem with MDIntouch slingshot, an application designed to send files to the MDWebtop system and then create an audio file in the .WAV format.

MDIntouch Output Directory The specified output directory where the RSMDintouchSvc stores the newly processed .WAV files
MDIntouch Query Interval The number of milliseconds the user wants to wait before polling the database. The default is 5000 or 5 seconds but the user has the option to change the interval. It is recommended to keep the interval to ten minutes or higher.

Mouse Wheel scroll by Image Page option When unchecked, mouse scrolling will move the highlighted viewport to the next image on the screen if more than one viewport is present. When enabled, scrolling the mouse will move the highlighted viewport to the first image in the series which is not currently on the visible screen. This makes scrolling through a series much faster and removes the need to scroll multiple times to view the next images in a series."
MPPS Modality Performed Procedure Step is a method that allows stations to receive the most up-to-date status of the study. By selecting Support MPPS, MPPS can be sent to the receiving station when studies are being transferred.

MPR tool Reconstructs two-dimensional views of a series after creating a three-dimensional volume. The reconstruction will take place on slices in the currently selected series only. A minimum of three slices has to exist and the slice spacing must not be too large.
