How Do I Modify the Allowed Film Sizes?
When a new printer is being installed on the system, one of the settings that can be modified is the list of film sizes the printer supports. Upon utilization, this setting will ensure that when users are attempting to print on that device, they will only be able to select valid film sizes. The global list of film sizes itself is mapped to physical measurement value. New film sizes can be added, or the list of available sizes can be modified. This is done through the DICOM Film Setup dialog. This dialog is accessible through Settings > Server Settings > DICOM Film Setup.
The DICOM Film Size ID column contains the name given to any of the physical mappings. This name can be anything, but in most cases it is a good idea to use one that contains information about the actual size of the film. The Name, Width, or Height of any of these entries can be altered or removed, and new ones may also be created.
