Finish Tools

The Finish Tools toolbar provides options to proceed to the next step after a user finishes reviewing a study.

Clicking the Close Study button closes the study. The status does change and the study remains on the Worklist. This option should be taken if the user is not yet finished working with the study. The user will be returned to the Worklist.

Clicking the Finish Reviewing Study button closes the study and advances its status, then returns to the user's Worklist. This moves the study off the Worklist and delivers it to the users that need to access it next. The option should be chosen if the user is finished with the study.

Clicking the Next Study button closes the study and advances its status, just like the Finish Reviewing Study option. However, this will not return the user to the Worklist. Instead it will load the next study on the Worklist.

The Previous Study button is similar to a browser history button. It lets you browse through previously viewed studies if you have used the Next Study button to arrive at the current study.
