Status Bar

The Status Bar is the bottom area of the form or window, which normally appears above the Windows Task Bar at the bottom of the screen. While the RamSoft software is visible, the Status Bar is always accessible. Depending on what screen or mode the software is in, multiple tools and messages can be seen in the Status Bar.

The leftmost, arrow shaped tool is the Show/Hide Patient Explorer button. Clicking it will toggle the visibility of the Patient Explorer. The area displaying RADIOLOGIST in the above example, always shows the name of the user currently logged into the system. The M0 signifies the Monitor Profile that is currently being used. The Information Area is found on the right side of the Status Bar. It is used to display the name of the tool that the mouse cursor is currently hovering over.

When the Study Desktop is first launched and objects are being loaded, the Status Bar will show a progress meter indicating how many objects still remain.

Just to the right of the Monitor Profile Indicator is the Download Progress indicator. The blue bar indicates graphically how much of the loading process has been completed. To the right of the progress indicator a message is displayed indicating how many objects have been loaded and how many are still remaining.

When the DICOM CD Burning Process is initiated from the Study Search Screen, the Status Bar reflects the process has begun.

The CD button can be used to open a dialog which allows the cancellation of the process. Also placing the mouse over the button will display the current stage of the DICOM CD Burning Process in the Information Area of the Status Bar. The area to the right of the CD button indicates the percentage of the burning that has been completed.
