Layout and Viewing Protocol
This section describes the Layout options (including Viewports and how to Compare Studies) as well as Viewing Protocols. The term viewing protocol refers to how study images are laid out on the screen as well as some properties of the interaction between the user and the images. In order to get maximum benefits from a PACS system, viewing protocols should be configured for each user of the system, or at the very least for each commonly viewed study type.
This section also explains Image Series: Linking Images Across Series and Fusing Series.
