Undo

There will be instances when undoing change(s) made to an image is required. The 'Undo Image Action' and 'Reset all image operations' tools are useful in undoing any changes.

Undo Image Action

The Undo Image Action tool helps you undo the last change that you have made on an image. For example, when you add an annotation, invert the image or perform any other image operation, you can use this tool to undo the change you made on the image.

Regardless of a study having any existing image manipulations, the Undo Image Action tool is disabled by default. It is enabled only when you make any changes to an image.

Note that when you have the "Save Presentation States privilege" enabled, the changes you make to an image are retained when you close and reopen the study. In this case the Undo Image Action tool is disabled and is only enabled when you now make any changes to an image.

Hint: You can use the shortcut key Ctrl+Z to access this tool.

When working on linked images, the Undo Image operation performed on the active viewport is applied on the linked viewport only if the operation that was performed involved spatial tools (Fit window, Fit width options with Zoom, Pan, Flip, Rotate, etc.). Note that when you reach the end of the stack of images on the active viewport with the Undo Image operation enabled, all the operations on the linked viewport will be undone.

Reset All Image Operations

The Reset All Image Operations tool reverts the image back to the original by resetting all the operations performed on the image.

Regardless of a study having any existing image manipulations, the Reset All Image Operations tool is disabled by default. It is enabled only when you make any changes to the image.

Note that when you have the "Save Presentation States privilege" enabled, the changes you make to an image are retained when you close and reopen the study. In this case the Reset All Image Operations tool is disabled and is only enabled when you now make any changes to an image.

Hint: You can use the shortcut key Esc to access this tool.

When working on linked images, the Reset operation performed on the active viewport is applied on all linked images regardless of the operation that is performed on the active viewport.
