Reporting Tools

The RamSoft software has a set of Reporting Tools integrated in the system that help organize and manage patient information. These tools consist of the Dictation Tool, Transcription Tools, and Key Objects.

The Dictation Tool is a voice recording tool used to record audio clips that are associated with a study.

The Create Key Object Document Tool is used to create Key Objects and Key Object Documents.

The Documents tool (also known as the Document Viewer) is used to create reports in different formats. The tool can be used to create Text Reports, Microsoft Word Reports from templates or to Attach Reports.

Special Conditions​

For scenarios where the Reading Physician is associated with multiple facilities and:

  1. One of the Reading Facilities is assigned to the study: After the radiologist creates a dictation or report the system keeps the Reading Facility that was assigned to the Reading Physician.

  2. None of the facilities is the Reading Facility assigned to the study: After the radiologist creates a dictation or report, the system clears the Reading Facility assigned to the Reading Physician.
