How Do I Attach a New Report to a Study?
To attach a Report, the Reporting Tool has to be setup to use Attach Reports. Click on the Open Report menu and click on the Attach Document option.
Clicking this option will launch the Document Viewer and prompt the user with the following dialogue.
The Document Title can be a maximum of Sixty four characters long. The Document Type is a drop-down menu which defines the type of document being attached. The types of documents which be attached with the report are:
Admin, Clinical, Consultation Report, Diagnostic Preliminary, Diagnostic Report, HIPAA Consent Form, Instruction, Insurance Card, labs, Mammo, Medical records Release Form, Patient Forms, Patient Insurance Cards, patient Registration Form, referral, RIS, Rx, Screening, and Study Form.
If the current study does not contain any reports, the Open Report button will launch the Attach Report window. Otherwise, an existing SR Report will be displayed in Read Only mode. Once the Document Title and Document Type has been chosen, the following window will be displayed.
DOC, PDF, RTF, TXT, JPEG, BMP and HTML are the file types that are supported. Any one of these file types can be attached and converted to an SR Report. Once a file has been attached, it is displayed in the report window.
If more than one Report is associated with the study, tabs appear across the top of the dialog. Each tab contains the name of the associated report.
