Working with Images and Series
Once you are comfortable locating and opening studies, you should then learn how to manipulate study images for the required diagnostic such as adjusting window level values, hanging protocols, measurement and annotations. The following topics explain how to use these tools.
The Scroll tool lets you scroll through large number of images. The Window Level tool enhances the image visibility. You can search for details on an image in a study using the Zoom tool.
You can move an image using the Pan tool. Measuring tools help you mark important information on an image. RapidResults provides two types of tools that can be used for the purpose of quality control of such images. These are the Flip and Rotate tools.
Inverting Grayscale values of an image can be very useful to clarify areas of CR and x-ray images. You can use the Linking feature to link images in different series.
You can show/hide annotation overlay information using the Toggling the Annotations on/off tool. You can view the localizer lines by enabling the Localizer line tool.
You can adjust window settings using the Clamp mode. Any manipulations performed on images can be reset using the Reset tool.
The Setup Layout with Multiple Viewports and Setup Layout Within a Viewport tools can be used to set the viewports layouts.
