True Size Magnification

Before you can use the True Size magnification option, you have to measure your display area, and inform the software of those dimensions. This is necessary in order to get a true anatomic, or film size translation. To measure your display area, you will need to get a metric measuring tool such as a ruler or measuring tape. Next click View > viewport > Monitor tab. In the list of monitors, there will be an entry for every single physical display. Monitor 0 is the leftmost monitor.

For each monitor measure the width of the display area. This refers to just the screen. Do not include any area that is not used for displaying data in your measurements. Enter that width value into the corresponding Width field. Do the same for the height values. Click OK when you are done. The True Size option should now be visible in your zoom menu.

The Auto Configure button is used to set all monitors as Color monitor type by default.
