How Do I Set the Default Import Study Status?

When studies are imported, the system will take the study status value that exists in the DICOM tags. Sometimes this behavior is not desired and the ability to set the status to a particular value is required.

This can be done through the Setup Workflow dialog. This dialog is accessible by clicking Settings > Server Settings > Workflow.

Selecting a value from the Default Import Study Status drop-down menu and selecting the Override study status when importing checkbox will set the study status of all imported studies to the selected value. Leaving the Override study status when importing box unchecked will cause the system to set the study status of imported studies to the value found in their DICOM tags.
